Is Astute Beta Server Safe?

It depends on three separate things: the file, your device, and your Free Fire account. No page can honestly promise that a third-party APK is “100% safe.” This page does not claim the file is clean. It shows you how to check for yourself.


Is the file safe?

APKs installed outside an app store can contain malware, and modified copies are common. Reduce the risk:

  • Use one download source. Don’t use re-uploads. See the download page.
  • Check the size. v2.133.1 should be about 535 MB. A much smaller file is incomplete or something else.
  • Scan with Google Play Protect. Play Store → profile icon → Play Protect → Scan.
  • Scan with VirusTotal. Upload the APK at virustotal.com and read the results. A few warnings from minor engines are common with game tools, but warnings from several major engines are a reason to stop.
  • Compare file hashes, if the page you downloaded from lists them.

A clean scan lowers the risk. It doesn’t prove the app is harmless.

Is your device safe?

  • Review the permissions the app asks for.
  • Be suspicious of SMS, contacts, call logs, accessibility services, or device administrator requests.
  • If the app asks to set up a VPN connection, that’s Android’s VPN permission. It lets the app route your traffic, so only allow it if you accept that.
  • Don’t install on a phone holding banking apps or sensitive work data if you’re unsure.

Is your account safe?

This is the biggest risk. Astute is third-party software, and Garena’s rules do not allow unauthorized third-party programs. Read account ban risk before using it.
