How We Test Astute Beta Server

Astute Beta Server is third-party software, and many pages about it repeat claims nobody has checked. We try to publish only what we’ve seen on a real device, and we say plainly when we haven’t confirmed something.

What we check

Our checks cover the APK version, file size, Android requirements, package details, installation, app launch, server connection, and basic functionality. We also look for installation errors, crashes, loading problems, unusual permissions, and other visible issues. When available, we record file hashes and other technical details to help verify the release.

Our testing process

1. File check.

We record the version, file size, and minimum Android version. We note the package details and, when available, the file hash. This lets you compare your download with ours.

2. Installation.

We install the APK on our test device and note any errors, warnings, or blocked installs, including Play Protect messages.

3. Launch and login.

We open the app, try the guest login, and note what the activation flow asks for. We record login or server errors, including codes like 400 and 500.

4. Basic functionality.

We check what we can actually find in the build, such as server or region options and in-app settings. We mark a feature as available only if we saw it.

5. Stability and permissions.

We watch for crashes, freezes, loading problems, and other visible issues. We review the permissions the app requests and flag anything that doesn’t fit a game-related tool.

6. Recording and publishing.

We write down the test device, Android version, and date, document known problems, and update the affected pages.

How we label findings

LabelMeaning
FoundWe saw it working in the tested build
Not foundWe looked for it and didn’t find it
Not confirmedWe couldn’t verify it, or only other sites claim it
May occurReported as an issue, or seen intermittently

We don’t list a feature as available because another site says so, and we don’t repeat claims such as “unlimited” items or “no ban” that we can’t support.

What our testing can’t tell you

Testing is done on a specific Android device and version, so results may vary on other devices. We record the test date and report problems when we find them rather than assuming every release works the same way.

Our testing doesn’t guarantee that an APK is completely safe or that its server will always remain available. It reflects only the version and the test environment we checked. In particular:

  • A clean test doesn’t make the app official. Astute isn’t made or supported by Garena. See Astute vs Advance Server.
  • It doesn’t remove account risk. Third-party software can put a Free Fire account at risk, whatever our test shows. See account ban risk.
  • It can go out of date. Servers, files, and features can change after our test date. Check the date on every page.
  • We can’t see inside the server. We report what’s visible on the device and the network, not what happens on the operator’s side.

We encourage you to run your own checks. Our guide to whether the app is safe shows how to scan the file and review permissions yourself.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t accept payment to change a result or hide a problem.
  • We don’t claim “100% safe,” “no ban,” or “virus-free.”
  • We don’t publish a test result we didn’t run.
  • We don’t host modified or re-uploaded copies of the APK.

When we re-test

We re-test when:

  • A new version is released
  • Free Fire releases a new OB update
  • A reader reports a problem we can’t explain
  • A file’s size or details change

Each re-test updates the date, the changelog, and the affected pages.

Corrections and reports

If you find something wrong, such as a changed file size, a new error, or a fix that didn’t work, please contact us with your phone model, Android version, app version, and what you saw. We review reports, correct mistakes, and update the relevant page.

Frequently asked questions

We test each version before publishing its information on the site, and we re-test after Free Fire updates.

Our results reflect the device and Android version listed in the test record. Results on other devices may differ.

No. It means we didn’t see a problem on that build and device, on that date.

When one is available, yes, and we list it so you can compare.

Check the date. Older results may no longer apply.
